Editorial policy

A transparent editorial approach for sustainability claims.

Sustainable Units evaluates listings using available information, proof quality, source links, and a consistent scoring framework. It does not act as an official certification agency.

Research basis

Profiles may use public information, brand claims, certification references, submitted documents, and third-party sources where available.

Proof levels

Proof levels describe confidence in available evidence, from brand claim only through third-party audited evidence.

Scoring

Scores are editorial assessments based on the Sustainable Units methodology. They are not endorsements, guarantees, or certifications.

Corrections

Brands, users, and readers can request corrections or updates. We aim to review credible corrections and source updates in good faith.

Commercial independence

Future paid digital resources may exist, but payment must not guarantee publication, ranking, certification, proof-level improvement, or a better score.

Beta limitations

During beta, coverage is selective and processes may evolve. Important claims should be checked against original sources before decisions are made.
